TUCSON, Ariz. — The Oregon State women's swimming team lost all three competitions in the tri-meet at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center at the University of Arizona.
The Beavers suffered losses to Northern Arizona, 167-125, New Mexico State, 168-126 and Arizona 213-77.
Oregon State recorded its first event win against Northern Arizona and New Mexico State as the Beavers 200-yard medley relay—made up of Felicia Anderson, Corrine Shigeta, Andrea Young and Sophie MacEwan¬—finished with a time of 1:45.69.
Senior Sophie MacEwan picked up a first place finish against NAU and NMSU in the 50-yard freestyle with a time 24.29.
Oregon State will face Arizona State tomorrow at noon in Tempe, Arizona before returning to Corvallis for its final weekend of the regular season, hosting Washington State and Idaho on Friday and Saturday at the Osborn Aquatic Center.
