FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Sammy Harrison and Czsarina Isleta combined to score 21 points for the Oregon State swimming team on Friday night at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
Harrison clocked a time of 1:43.17 in the 200-yard freestyle to place 13th and pick up 14 points towards Oregon State’s team total. The senior from Henderson, Nev. improved her time on Friday night after recording a time of 1:47.68 in the earlier preliminary heats.
Czsarina Isleta accounted for seven points for Oregon State on Friday, as the junior placed 18th in the 100-yard breaststroke finals with a time of 1:03.00. Isleta clocked a time of 1:03.12 in the preliminary heats.
The 400-yard medley relay team of Amani Amr, Isleta, Constance Toulemonde and Andrea Young combined for the Beavers’ final scoring performance of the night, as the foursome clocked a time of 3:49.01 to place ninth and add 42 points.
Oregon State has 218 points to rank ninth heading into the final day of the Pac-12 Championships. USC leads the field with 951 points.
Toulemonde led the Beavers in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.75. Young finished the event in 55.97, while Brooke Meyer touched the wall in 56.40. All three narrowly missed the cut for the final heats.
Amr accounted for the Beavers’ top time in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in 57.75. Sophie MacEwan followed closely behind, posting a time of 58.03.
