Oregon State has officially added former Linn-Benton Community College setter Montanna Gubrud, a two-time, Two-Year College all-American, to the volleyball program, head coach Mark Barnard announced Monday.
“Montanna is a strong competitor with good on-court leadership ability,” Barnard said in a release. “She distributes a nice array of set types and puts hitters in a good position to score. She’s a little more experienced and older and will be a great addition to the team.”
Gubrud, from McMinnville, holds the Roadrunners’ all-time career assists record. She is a two-time Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) first-team all-star. As a freshman, she guided her team to the NWAC championship match.
