CLACKAMAS — Bailey Evers poured in 25 points as the Linn-Benton Community College men's basketball team edged Yakima Valley 90-89 Friday afternoon at the Clackamas Holiday Tournament.
Cooper Getsfrid added 18 points and Adam Harvey 15 for the Roadrunners (10-2), who close tournament play Saturday.
Thursday afternoon, Linn-Benton shared the ball and shot lights-out in a 91-61 victory over South Puget Sound to open the tournament.
The Roadrunners (9-2) finished with 30 assists on 33 made baskets and were 15 of 25 (60 percent) from the 3-point line.
“We shot 60 percent because they were all wide open from making the extra pass,” LBCC coach Everett Hartman said.
Evers was 9 of 13 from beyond the arc and led all players with 27 points. Harvey added 15 points and Getsfrid 14.
Taylor Jensen tallied nine points, 14 rebounds and nine assists.
“Taylor is just a really great all-around player,” Hartman said.
