Women’s basketball

Leslie Robinson (Corvallis) had a team-high 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals Saturday in Princeton’s 75-54 home win over Cornell in Princeton, New Jersey.

Friday, she had six points and two rebounds in a 69-47 home win against Columbia.


Jessica Sexson (Crescent Valley) had 10 points, two rebounds and three assists Saturday in Eastern Oregon’s 105-69 home win against Warner Pacific in La Grande.

Friday, Sexson had eight points, one rebound and three assists in a 98-34 home win against Multnomah.

Men’s basketball

Ben DeSaulnier (Philomath) had 11 points and six rebounds Saturday in Southern Oregon’s 86-83 win at Corban in Salem.

Friday, he had 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a steal in a 97-91 loss at Northwest Christian in Eugene.


Trey Ecker (Philomath) had 11 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals Saturday in Linn-Benton’s 82-79 home win against Chemeketa.

Teammate Riley Davis (Philomath) added two points, three rebounds and a block.

Ecker had 10 points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in a 74-65 loss at Umpqua in Roseburg. Davis had two points, one rebound, one assist and one block.


Cal Stueve (Philomath) had five points Saturday in Oregon Tech’s 123-121 loss at Northwest Christian in Eugene.


Cal Poly freshman Brawley Lamer (Crescent Valley) is 11-5 this season after three straight wins. Lamer is competing at 141 and 149 pounds.

Women’s track and field

Oregon State’s Gwyneth McMorris (Corvallis) was seventh in the 800 meters at 2 minutes, 16.16 seconds in Saturday’s Washington Indoor Preview in Seattle.

She also helped the Beavers take 11th in the 4x400 relay (4:02.36).


Portland State’s Alana Chaplin (Corvallis) was 11th in the mile in 5:29.77 in Saturday’s Vandal Invitational indoor meet in Moscow, Idaho.
