Annie Anderson (Lebanon) started at defender Saturday in Northwest Christian’s 2-0 win at Evergreen in Olympia, Washington.

Men’s cross-country

Chris Morgan (South Albany), running for Warner Pacific, finished 82nd with a time of 34 minutes, 37.7 seconds Saturday at the Cascade Conference Preview Meet in La Grande.


Nathan Jones (Scio) had two tackles and an interception Saturday in Western Oregon’s 58-21 victory at Western New Mexico in Silver City, New Mexico. Teammate Brian Sarbeck (Scio) added four tackles.


Cole Sipos (Lebanon) had one carry for two yards Saturday in Linfield’s 24-3 home loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor in McMinnville.


Grant Schroeder (Santiam Christian) completed 21 of 36 passes for 180 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions Saturday in George Fox’s 13-10 victory over visiting Redlands in Newberg. He also ran for a team-leading 32 yards on 10 carries.

Teammate Chase Hudson (Santiam Christian) started at right guard.


Jakeb Cripe (Lebanon) had six tackles, including half a sack, and forced a fumble Saturday in College of the Redwoods’ 40-20 home loss to Reedley in Eureka, California.


Maddy Gravley (Santiam Christian) had five kills and three block assists Tuesday in Oregon State’s straight-sets loss at Oregon.

Saturday, Gravley had four kills and six block assists in a sweep of Boise State.

Friday, she had two kills and five block assists in a 3-0 victory over Idaho State. Earlier in the day, she collected four kills, two block assists, one stuff block and one dig in a 3-1 loss to Minnesota.

The weekend matches were part of the Boise State Classic.


Payton Rund (West Albany) had six kills, six digs and one stuff block Saturday in Saint Mary’s’ straight-sets home loss to Stanford.

Friday, Rund had nine kills, six digs, one ace and one assist in a 3-1 loss at California.


Ally Benedict (West Albany) had four digs, two assists and one ace Saturday in Portland State’s 3-0 win over UTEP.

Friday, Benedict had seven digs and an assist in a sweep of Cal State Northridge.

Last Wednesday, she had seven digs in a sweep of Portland.

All matches were part of the Nike Invitational in Portland.


Libbie Hoene (Lebanon) had seven digs and one ace Saturday in Western Oregon’s 3-0 loss at Seattle Pacific.

Last Thursday, Hoene had nine digs and an ace in a sweep of Saint Martin’s in Lacey, Washington.


Emma Ryan (Lebanon) had six digs and an assist Saturday in Southern Oregon’s 3-0 victory at Multnomah in Portland.

Friday, Ryan had six digs, two assists and an ace in a 3-2 win at Warner Pacific in Portland.


Whitney Webster (West Albany) had 12 kills, four block assists and three digs Saturday in Oregon Tech’s five-set loss at Warner Pacific. Teammate Bella Smith (Santiam Christian) added 16 digs and five assists.

Friday, Webster had eight kills, four digs and an ace while Smith tallied eight digs, one assist and one ace in a road sweep of Multnomah.


Amber Parker (West Albany) had 18 kills and three digs Sunday in Corban’s home sweep of Walla Walla in Salem. Teammates Madison McLain (Santiam Christian) added 26 assists and eight digs, Marandah Boeder (West Albany) two kills, two block assists and one stuff block and Haley Wells (West Albany) 13 digs, three aces, one kill and one assist.

Friday, Parker had 17 kills, 21 digs and four block assists, McLain 27 assists, 13 digs and one ace, Boeder 13 kills, six block assists and three digs and Wells 21 digs, four assists and two aces in a four-set loss at Northwest Christian in Eugene.


Cara Crosby (Santiam Christian) had two digs Friday in Whitworth’s 3-0 loss at Pacific Lutheran in Tacoma, Washington.


Kya Knuth (Lebanon) had six digs, two aces and one assist Saturday in Linn-Benton’s 3-1 home victory over Clackamas.

Friday, Knuth had eight digs, five aces and three assists in a five-set win at Chemeketa in Salem. Teammate Maddie Norris (Lebanon) added one ace and one dig.


Jane Cale (West Albany) had 48 assists, 17 digs, two kills and one stuff block Saturday in Chemeketa’s 3-1 win at Lane in Eugene. Teammate Lauren Kerlegan (Lebanon) added eight kills, two digs, two assists and one stuff block.

Friday, Cale had 56 assists, 25 digs, two aces, two block assists and two kills while Kerlegan recorded four kills, one block assist and one dig in a five-set loss to Linn-Benton.
