Lack of rhythm costly for Richey’s

CLACKAMAS - Richey's Market couldn't find its rhythm at the plate in a 5-3 loss to Narrow's Baseball Club of Gig Harbor, Wash., at the Rose City Invitational at Clackamas Community College on Thursday.

Richey's (11-6) led 3-2 after three innings, but was shut out the rest of the way as Narrow's went up 4-3 in fourth.

The Marketmen managed just three hits in the seven-inning wooden bat game. Eric Evenson, Jeremy Graves and Tyler Conklin had a hit apiece for Richey's. Steve Arnst and Conklin drove in the team's runs.

Richey's plays at 9 a.m. today in the Rose City Invitational. They face the NW Titans, another Washington team.
