VANCOUVER, B.C. - Corvallis rallied in the seventh inning to take earn a 6-5 West Coast Collegiate Baseball League victory over Kelowna on Friday night.
The Knights entered the top of the seventh inning trailing 4-3, before they rallied for three runs to take the lead for good.
They also scored three runs in the second inning to go up 3-0, before the Falcons came back.
Clayton Shaw hit the game-tying RBI single for the Knights in the seventh and finished with three RBIs.
Mike Cusick picked up the win in relief, while Kyle Cruikshank pitched out of a jam to earn his seventh save of the season. After giving up a run, the Knights' closer struck out Cody Pace to end the game with runners on first and third.
Results for the second game of Friday night's doubleheader were unavailable at press time.
Corvallis plays Kelowna again today at 7 p.m.
