Seven area horseshoe pitchers won titles last weekend in two tournaments at Corvallis’ Avery Park.

Jim Postell of Corvallis took two classes, A40 and B40. He averaged 261-610 combined for the two tournaments with a high game of 60 percent ringers.

Tami Gilbert of Halsey was 7-1 and averaged 48.43 in winning A and B classes combined Saturday.

Other champions included Lebanon’s Doug Bowen (8-0), Halsey’s Kyle Gilbert, Mill City’s Mo Adamo and Brownsville’s Miek O’Donnell. John Trahan of Lebanon was second.
