The Corvallis Knights wrapped up a perfect nonleague season on Saturday night with a 12-1 victory over the Oregon Collegiate Baseball League All-Stars at Goss Stadium.
Catcher Chase Duty doubled three times and singled, scored twice and drove in three runs for the Knights (36-18, 30-18 WCL, 13-8 second half). They scored six runs in the first inning and cruised to their sixth nonleague victory of the summer.
Duty walked in his other plate appearance and reached safely all five times. Center fielder Elliot Willey doubled, singled twice, drove in two, scored twice and stole a base.
Right fielder Cole Johnson added two hits and two RBIs. Second baseman Jack Kuzma singled twice, scored twice and drove in a run and left fielder Henry Cheney had two RBIs.
Starter Darren Nelson and five relievers combined for 14 strikeouts and held the all-stars to six hits. Jordan Horak struck out four in two innings and was the winner.
Corvallis won its fourth game in a row and completed the five-game homestyand with a 4-1 mark.
The OCBL is a four-team league based in the Salem area. Most of its players are from Corban, Western Oregon, Linn-Benton and Chemeketa.
The Knights are idle Sunday and Monday. They open a three-game series at Wenatchee on Tuesday.
