EUGENE - The 2009 Civil War football game between Oregon and Oregon State has been scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 3.

The game will be played at 6 p.m. at Autzen Stadium and will be televised as part of ESPN's Thursday night package.

The change gives the Ducks a bye heading into the game.

For the Beavers to make the change, they moved the game at Washington State originally scheduled for Oct. 17 to Nov. 21.

OSU now plays games the first six weeks of the season, opening Sept. 5 at home against Portland State. They then have a bye Oct. 17, followed by five weeks of games before a weekend off prior to the midweek Civil War.
