Corvallis High seniors Nate Williams and Danny Alig were named player and pitcher of the year, respectively, for the Mid-Willamette Conference baseball season in a vote of the coaches.
CHS's Eric Dazey was named coach of the year as the Spartans won their second straight MWC title.
The Spartans had five first-team picks - Williams (shortstop), Alig (pitcher), Cory England (third base), Kellen Sparkes (outfield) and Aaron Corwin (utility).
Ben Northcutt (pitcher) and Adam Zweber (catcher) were second-team picks.
Crescent Valley senior Thomas McCarthy was a first-team pick at first base along with teammates Nate Pozzesi (outfield) and Kiel Larkin (catcher).
CV's Jake Likewise (shortstop) and Josh Liebeskind (outfield) were second-team picks, while Van Fudge (third base) was honorable mention.

MONMOUTH - Santiam Christian had four athletes qualify for this weekend's 3A state track and field meet at Western Oregon University.
On the boys side, Andrew Conniff qualified by finishing second in the 1,500-meter run in 4 minutes, 35.26 seconds at last weekend's PacWest Conference meet, also at WOU.
Scott Hart advanced after a second-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 11 feet.
On the girls side, Rebekah Warner finished second in the discus with a heave of 106-8, while Hannah Aleman was second in the 100 high hurdles (18.85). Aleman just missed qualifying in the 300 low hurdles, placing third at the district meet.
1A track
Alsea will have two athletes competing in the 1A championships at Western Oregon.
Sophomore Tyson Schreiber won the boys 200 meters and long jump at the Mountain West district meet last weekend at Junction City, while sophomore Hallie Pedder won the girls 100 and long jump.
Alsea finished seventh in the team standings on both sides of the meet.
Andi Marin, Russell Turpin and Violet Cathcart all missed qualifying with third-place finishes. Marin was third in the boys 100 and long jump; Turpin in the boys discus; and Cathcart in the girls javelin and long jump.
