DALLAS - Brett Huggins gave Crescent Valley High a quick lead early in the first quarter, but Dallas responded with 21 straight points and went on to post a 31-21 Mid-Willamette Conference win on Friday night.
After Dallas took a 21-7 lead in the third quarter, Huggins scampered 60 yards to make it 21-14, but Dallas scored 10 unanswered points before Huggins connected with Kyle Larkin on an 11-yard TD play late in the fourth quarter.
Dallas quarterback Ron Snively tossed two touchdowns to Jesse Boustead in the 21-point stretch to put the Dragons up.
Huggins finished with 107 yards rushing on 10 carries, while Nick Stewart added 58 yards on nine attempts.
Jordon Baumgartner and Steve Milligan each had four catches for the Raiders.
CV did receive a win this week when Cleveland forfeited a victory over the Raiders two weeks ago because of an ineligible player, CV coach Scott Sanders said.
With that win, the Raiders are 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the MWC with a trip to winless Woodburn next Friday.
