ADAIR VILLAGE - Brian Kessi threw for two touchdowns as Santiam Christian opened PacWest Conference football play with a 26-0 victory over Harrisburg on Friday.
Kessi completed 5 of 10 passes for 106 yards. Erik Hellesto rushed for 97 yards on 14 carries, including a 65-yard scoring run in the third quarter.
Jeremy Burrows converted two of four point-after kicks and also blocked and recovered a punt in the end zone for a touchdown.
Santiam Christian (3-1, 1-0) will play Jefferson on Sept. 27 at Sprague High School. Jefferson's stadium has been condemned, forcing the change of date and venue.
