DALLAS — Corvallis High remained undefeated in Mid-Willamette Conference volleyball play on Tuesday with a 3-1 victory at Dallas. Set scores were 25-22, 26-24, 23-25, 25-21.

"We got excellent play from our middles," coach Steve Hyre said. "Dallas is tough to play at their place so it was a nice win, even if we had to go four sets."

Taylor Quinn had 19 digs, Kylynn Quinn had 25 assists, Ryann Gregg had 16 kills, 14 digs and four aces on 21-for-21 serving, Tanya Sisson had nine kills and Allie Watts 4.5 blocks to lead the Spartans.

CHS (4-2, 3-0) resumes league play on Thursday by hosting South Albany.

Crescent Valley 3, Central 0

The Raiders were at full strength for the first time this season and they handled Central 25-23, 25-22, 25-12 in the Mid-Willamette Conference match at CV.

"It was nice to see our personalities come out," coach Brittney Yeskie said. "It was nice to have everyone back, we looked like a whole new team."

Lindsey Grossman had 12 assists, eight kills, three blocks and two assists. Desarae Reab had 10 kills, four digs and three assists, Adrianna Kazmaire had 12 digs and five assists and Claire Esary had five kills, five assists and four blocks.

The Raiders (5-3) resume MWC action at Woodburn on Thursday.

Alsea 3, Triangle Lake 0

TRIANGLE LAKE — Alsea evened its record in Mountain West League play with a 25-17, 25-13, 25-23 victory.

Megan Harper had seven kills and two assists, Emma Griffin had seven kills, a block and two aces, and Abbie Lowther had 11 assists, four kills and two aces.

"The girls played really well, all together," Alsea coach Katie Sapp said. "We kept them on their toes trying new lineups and subbing often.

"They coped really well with moving around and played as a team throughout. Having a large team this year gives us lots of options." 

The Wolverines (2-1, 1-1) host Mohawk on Thursday in another league match.

Boys soccer

LA PINE — Santiam Christian scored three times in the first half, added a fourth goal in the second half and eased past La Pine 4-1 for its first win of the fall in the 3A/2A/1A Special District 3 game.

SC (1-2-1, 1-0-1) resumes league play on Thursday with a 4:30 p.m. game at East Linn Christian.

Philomath 0, North Bend 0

NORTH BEND — The Warriors concluded their nonleague slate with a scoreless draw with the Bulldogs. PHS (1-1-2) opens Oregon West Conference play by hosting Stayton on Sept. 19.

Girls soccer

LA PINE — McKenna David had a goal and two assists to lead Santiam Christian to a 5-0 win over La Pine in a 3A/2A/1A Special District 3 game.

Sailor Allman, Audrey Miller, Sophey Roberts and Trinity Beck added goals for the Eagles (2-1-0, 1-1-0). They host Westside Christian in a nonleague game at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Gladstone 3, Philomath 1

GLADSTONE — Carrie Lillis scored on an assist from Malia Taufaasau for the Warriors in the nonleague match. Keeper Kena Bacho had numerous saves to keep the Warriors (1-2) within striking distance.

Philomath concludes its nonleague slate on Thursday with a 4 p.m. home game against North Bend.
