ADAIR VILLAGE — Caitlin Fettig’s goal in the sixth minute of overtime lifted host Santiam Christian to a Special District 4 girls soccer win Tuesday over Glide.

Madeline Kier put the Eagles on top with a first-half goal, and the Wildcats squared the match on Kali Vickery’s breakaway in the 73rd.

The teams played two 10-minute overtime periods.

“We actually dominated the match,” SC coach Wendi Miller said. “They had one really fast player, Kali Vickery, who is one of the top players in the league. She got loose at the end of the game, but we dominated time of possession and did the little things.”

SC (9-1-1, 8-1-1 league) finishes the regular season in second place in Special District 4. The Eagles will play a state playoff game next Tuesday against a to-be-determined opponent.
