ADAIR VILLAGE — Crescent Valley's Legend Lamer and Brawley Lamer both won titles at the Santiam Christian Screamin' Eagle wrestling tournament on Saturday.
Legend Lamer pinned Remy Tapia-Bravo of Sherwood in 44 seconds to take the title at 113 pounds and Brawley Lamer won by major decision over Garrett Lefebure of Rainier, 9-1, for first at 126.
Shan Athwal of CV finished third at 113. Brandon Lareau was second at 285.
Santiam Christian's Riley Roberts was second at 152, losing 5-1 to Rocky Lilly of Gold Beach.
SC's Jason Manzi (138), Caleb Beck (160) and Chance Ottinger (220) all placed third.
Philomath's Jacob Morris finished second at 170.
Alsea Bay Classic
Monroe's Joseph Ballard took first at 285 pounds at the Alsea Bay Classic wrestling tournament on Saturday.
Ballard pinned Elmira's Dale Miller in 53 seconds in the title match.
Monroe's Kaleb Ballard pinned Elmira's Zach Russell in 1:52 to win a semifinal match at 138 before losing to Vincent Washington of Grants Pass in the final.
