The Oregon State University swim team enters will compete at the Pac-12 women’s swimming and diving championships this week at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.
The event will run from Wednesday to Saturday.
Oregon State will look to build on the momentum gained from the end of the season as the Beavers will be paced by sophomore Felicia Anderson and junior transfer Arianna Letrari, who posted a combined six NCAA B Standard times during 2017-18.
Anderson’s three B standards came in the 69th Husky Invitational at the beginning of December as she started off the invite with a time of 54.42 secnds in the first leg of the 400 medley relay as the backstroke specialist. She added a time of 54.48 in the 100 back on day two and closed her run with a 1:59.13 in the 200 back on the final day.
Letrari followed suit during the invite with her first of three B standard times starting from the 200 IM on the first day after clocking a time of 2:00.94, added a time of 53.75 in the 100 fly on day two and ended the invite with a 1:58.55 in the 200 fly.
On the season, Anderson leads the team with 17 top-3 finishes, including several event wins over the last few duals, while Letrari is close behind with 12 top-3 finishes.
