WALNUT CREEK Calif. - Eight Oregon State volleyball tplayers earned Pacific-10 Conference all-academic regognition on Tuesday.

To be eligible, players must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter of significant contributor

Sophomore business administration majors Kaitlan Locke and Jill Sawatzky each earned first-team honors.

Junior Bree Knitter (sociology, Spanish) was a second-team pick for the second time in her career.

Seniors Ashley Evans, Natalie Hooper and Lauren Rinderknecht and juniors Camilla Ah-Hoy and Lexie Rathgeber were honorable mention.

Evans and Hooper were third-time honorees. Rathgeber and A-Hoy were second-time honorees.

The Beavers conclude their season against California at 4:30 p.m. today and against Stanford at 7 p.m. Friday at Gill Coliseum.
