An Evening of Classical Guitar with Jaxon Williams

The Corvallis Guitar Society presents a solo classical guitar performance by Jaxon Williams at 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, at Troubadour Music Center, 521 S.W. Second St., Corvallis.

Williams, an Ashland native, won Oregon high school classical guitar competitions in 2005 and 2006, and has been victorious at other competitions since then. He holds guitar performance degrees from Brigham Young University and Arizona State University. Williams has also studied both classical and flamenco guitar, and played extensively in Spain.

His Corvallis program will focus on Spanish composers.

Admission is $15 general, advance and at the door. Advance tickets are available online at jaxon.brownpapertickets.com and at Grass Roots Books and Music, 227 S.W. Second St., Corvallis.
