There were few bright spots for the Oregon State football team in Saturday’s 38-14 Pac-12 loss at Stanford.

One aspect that does come out of a blowout loss is a team can get a look at some young players.

For the Beavers, one such player was quarterback Luke Del Rio. Del Rio stepped in for Sean Mannion and led the Beavers on a fourth quarter touchdown drive, which was capped by a 1-yard run by Damien Haskins.

Del Rio finished with 87 yards on four completions, including a 52-yarder to Hunter Jarmon to set up the score.

Del Rio also hit Jarmon for 16 yards and Rahmel Dockery for 15.

With Mannion in his senior season, the Beavers will be looking for a successor next season and Del Rio will be right at the front of the line.
