When the Oregon State football team takes the field on Thursday night against Utah, it will be the first game of the season with the students in full force at Reser Stadium.
School is in session and that’s a plus for the Beavers on game day.
“It’s going to be great,” quarterback Sean Mannion said. “It’s always fun when the kids get back into town and Corvallis suddenly seems a lot bigger. So it will be nice.

“Reser’s always a great place to play, but it will be great to have a full home game with the students and everybody back.”
Not only will the students come out for the game, but the players know Reser Stadium gets a little louder and the atmosphere a little wilder when classes start.
“It feels amazing,” running back Storm Woods said. “The student body’s so loud at all the games. It’s really different when the students are here, opposed to when they’re away.”
