It’s no secret that Oregon State has struggled a bit in the passing game.

Part of the issue has been injuries to the offensive line.

That puts pressure on Sean Mannion to push through his progressions and he often hasn’t had the time.

Victor Bolden said the Beavers receivers need to get open faster.

“We’ve got to get open faster so Sean can get through his progressions faster,” Bolden said. “That way we can complete more passes and get the ball down the field.”

That means finding a way to get off the line of scrimmage and into the routes as quickly as possible.

“Get off the line of scrimmage and get a step ahead and with being a step ahead, Sean can get through his progressions faster,” Bolden said.
