Several changes involving the Philomath Connection bus routes will be the subject of a Sept. 9 open house at City Hall and councilors will meet later the same evening to consider a final decision on the plan.
Citizens who would like to voice their opinion in writing, however, need to have comments submitted by the end of the business day on Thursday, Sept. 5. Comments can be dropped off at the city recorder’s office at City Hall or emailed to email@example.com.
According to a press release on the city’s website, the changes will add stops at new high population areas and increase the number and frequency of runs on weekdays.

“This is accomplished by eliminating the weekday and Saturday early morning run and removing stops along the route that are rarely used,” the release reads.
For a detailed list of changes to the stops, along with the proposed bus schedule, see the city’s website at www.ci.philomath.or.us.
