The Philomath Fire & Rescue and Strengthening Rural Families Open House and Health Fair attracted about 400 people Saturday afternoon, Capt. Richard Saalsaa reported.
Although those attendance numbers were down slightly from last year, Saalsaa said the weather turned out to be perfect for those who chose to take in the various presentations from the 21 organizations, agencies and public safety partners on hand.
The event featured just about any topic related to health and safety, and emergency response.
