The Philomath City Council will meet for its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
An early version of the meeting agenda, which is subject to change, includes discussion and decision on Levi Beelart’s North 12th Street annexation application and if approved, a vote on a related ordinance.
The proposed agenda also includes a strategic plan update and a presentation recognizing Citizens Academy participants along with the various council and staff reports.
The official agenda will be posted this week on the city’s website at www.ci.philomath.or.us.
Preceding the meeting at 6 p.m., the public is invited to recognize the city’s outgoing volunteers, including longtime mayor Rocky Sloan, as part of a special reception.
Earlier in the day from 4-6 p.m., incoming city councilors will participate in an orientation. New councilors that will be taking their seats in January include Marion Dark, Chas Jones, Matthew Thomas and Terry Weiss.
