The Philomath City Council meets Monday at 5:30 p.m. for a work session and 7 p.m. for its regular meeting. Council meetings take place at Philomath City Hall.

The work session, which is open to the public for observation, involves a review of the city’s 2019 Strategic Plan.
At the regular meeting, agenda items listed old business include discussion and possible decisions on a Philomath Housing Stability Fund contribution, amendments to zoning and annexation code, and formation of a 2040 Comprehensive Plan advisory group.
New business on the agenda includes discussion on the removal of public right-of-way easements, an intergovernmental agreement to form the Mid-Valley Prosperity Partnership Economic Strategy and Action Plan and an application for a Willamette Valley Visitors Association grant.
The agenda also includes a presentation by Pacific Power’s Celeste Krueger, visitor comments, council reports and staff reports.
