The Philomath City Council will gather for its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at City Hall.
The council will consider the adoption of several proposed ordinances at the meeting:
• Amend the legal description and map in Shonnard annexation ordinance.
• Set an effective date for annexation of residential and commercial properties at 501, 615 and 529 Main St.
• Set an effective date for annexation of residential property at 3157 Main St.
• Amend city code regarding sale of tobacco products and smoking in public places.
The council will also hold a public hearing on the annexation of property located at 903 N. 12th St., the site of a proposed housing development. If that moves forward, the council would then take a vote on adopting an ordinance for the annexation.
Documents associated with the proposed ordinances and public hearing can be viewed online at www.ci.philomath.or.us. For those with questions, call the city at 541-929-6148.
The meeting is usually held on the second Monday of each month, however, it was pushed back a day in observation of Veterans Day.
