FRIDAY, JUNE 28

STALKING ORDER VIOLATION: Philomath police arrested Kathryn Van Hoff, 30, for allegedly violating a stalking protective order. Hoff, who has no fixed address, was arrested on the 2900 block of Northwest 13th Street in Corvallis.

VEHICLE CRASH: Philomath police responded at 6:38 p.m. to a minor two-vehicle crash in the Philomath High School parking lot. No one was injured.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

VEHICLE CRASH: Philomath police responded at 12:01 p.m. to a vehicle crash at Grange Hall Road and Fern Road. No one was injured.

MONDAY, JULY 1

CAR PROWL: Philomath police arrested Chaylan Dale Tosta, 37, of Eugene, on the 1400 block of Main Street for allegedly stealing from a vehicle. Tosta was booked on charges of theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct, interfering with a peace officer, resisting arrest, criminal trespassing and littering.

HARASSMENT: Philomath police responded to the 600 block of McCall Way, and cited and released Kimberly D. Moore, 57, of Philomath, on a charge of physical harassment.

SINGLE-VEHICLE CRASH: A Benton County sheriff deputy responded at 5 p.m. to Peterson Road near Cougar Lane for a report of a single-vehicle crash. The driver reported that his vehicle started to pull hard to the right and that he was unable to keep from crashing into a utility pole.

TUESDAY, JULY 2

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Philomath police responded at 9:30 a.m. to the 1400 block of Applegate Street for a report of a suspicious person.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 3

THEFT: Philomath police took a report at 6 p.m. of a bike theft on the 1900 block of Main Street.

METH: Philomath police cited and released Ross Nichols Wilson, 45, of Philomath, on the 4200 block of Southwest Philomath Boulevard on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

THURSDAY, JULY 4

DISTURBANCE: Philomath police responded at 6:57 p.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance on the 300 block of South 19th Street. The responding officer determined the altercation was verbal only.

SATURDAY, JULY 6

DISTURBANCE: Philomath police responded at 10:22 a.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance on the 100 block of North 14th Street. The responding officer determined the altercation was verbal only.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: A Benton County sheriff deputy responded at 9:05 p.m. to property on the 31000 block of Peterson Road for a report of a man in a field lighting matches and throwing them in the grass. Philomath police arrived first and both agencies were unable to locate anyone in the area.

MONDAY, JULY 8

DISTURBANCE: Philomath police responded at 5:05 p.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance on the 1300 block of Main Street. The responding officer determined the altercation was verbal only.

WARRANT: Philomath police arrested Brian Spence Phillips, 33, a transient from Albany, on the 5900 block of Southwest Philomath Boulevard on a warrant for failure to comply with a court order. The interaction took place at 1:05 p.m. on the 5900 block of Southwest Philomath Boulevard

WARRANT: Philomath police arrested Kristina Kay Haff, 42, at 9:41 p.m. on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of harassing communication. Haff, who has no fixed address, was arrested on the 1000 block of Applegate Street.

TUESDAY, JULY 9

FORGERY: Philomath police responded at 11:13 a.m. to a local bank for a report of a counterfeit $5 bill that had part of a large deposit from a farmer's market vendor. Police determined there would be no way to track down the source of the bill.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 10

DUII: Philomath police cited and released Michael Sean Swadberg, 27, of Siletz, on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (drugs). The interaction took place on the 1500 block of Applegate Street.
