WARRANT: Philomath police cited Shelby Christine Hibbs, 21, of Philomath, on a municipal court warrant. No further details were provided.

DUII: Benton County sheriff deputies were dispatched at 10:58 p.m. to the area of Marys Peak Road, near mile marker 1, for a report of an intoxicated driver. Cecil James Schrader Jr., 57, of Corvallis, was pulled over on Highway 34, about 4 miles southwest of Philomath, and arrested on felony charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving with a revoked license, and on a warrant for a previous alleged incident of driving with a revoked license. Schrader reportedly failed field-sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample.


METH: Philomath police arrested Erik Wayne Ridenour, 50, of Reedsport, on a charge of methamphetamine possession following a traffic stop at 12:46 a.m. near the intersection of Whiteside Drive and Chintimini Avenue in Corvallis.

MISSING PERSON: Philomath police responded at 2:03 a.m. to an address on the 3100 block of Southwood Drive for a report of an adult who was missing. While the officer was searching the area, the person returned home.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Philomath police responded at 7:37 p.m. to an address on the 800 block of North 12th Street for a report of trespassing and criminal mischief. Someone entered the property and turned on exterior water faucets to full blast.


ASSAULT: Philomath police officers and Benton County sheriff deputies responded at 5:45 a.m. to the 1300 block of Cedar Street to a report of a man pulling a gun during an argument at a residence. Christopher Daniel Slagle, 24, of Philomath, was arrested after witnesses at the house said he pulled the gun first, then was maced by an occupant who then fled into a room and locked the door. Slagle reportedly kicked the door open and then pushed and shoved two women inside, injuring one. Slagle was booked on charges of menacing, unlawful use of a weapon, fourth-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief.

WARRANT: Philomath police responded at 8:55 p.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance at an address on the 200 block of South 15th Street. The officer determined that no criminal conduct had occurred, but he did arrest one of the parties, 48-year-old Scott Douglas Yost of Philomath, on a contempt-of-court warrant out of Clackamas County.


DOGS AT LARGE: Philomath police issued a citation to a dog owner living on the 38000 block of Alexander Road in Philomath for allowing his two dogs to run at large and threaten two people who were walking their dog on the road.

INJURED DEER: A Philomath police officer responded at 5 a.m. to the 500 block of Main Street for a report of an gravely injured deer lying on the road. The animal was pulled into a ditch and destroyed.

HIT-AND-RUN: The driver of an unloaded log truck reportedly backed up at the intersection of 19th Street and Main Street, causing the trailer to damage the hood of the vehicle behind it. The driver did not stop.
