SUNDAY, OCT. 28

DUII: A Benton County sheriff deputy arrested Timothy McGuyre, 40, no town of residence listed, on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop at 1:45 a.m. The deputy reportedly witnessed McGuyre leave the Meet’n Place Tavern at a high rate of speed and then make an unsignaled turn into a driveway south of Pioneer Street and North Ninth Street. McGuyre reportedly refused to provide a breath test or perform field-sobriety tests, but the deputy was granted a search warrant to obtain a blood draw at the hospital. McGuyre provided a “jail release Intoxilyzer” breath sample at 4 a.m. that reportedly read his blood alcohol content to be 0.14 percent.

TRESPASSING: A Benton County sheriff deputy responded at 10 a.m. for a trespassing complaint on Alexander Road. Steven L. Smith, 59, of Philomath, was cited on a second-degree criminal trespassing charge.

SINGLE-VEHICLE CRASH: A Benton County sheriff deputy located an unreported single-vehicle crash at 4:07 p.m. about 7 miles north of Highway 20 on Kings Valley Highway. It was later determined that the motorist was driving south when he took a corner too sharp, overcorrected and rolled the vehicle onto its top in the west-side ditch. No injuries were reported.

FRIDAY, NOV. 2

VEHICLE CRASH: A juvenile motorist struck a parked car on Pioneer Street near Tasman Place at 8:45 p.m. No one was injured and both vehicles were towed due to damage.

SUNDAY, NOV. 4

WARRANT: Philomath Police arrested Yolonda Earline Bearden, 45, of Toledo, following a traffic stop at 11:40 p.m. on the 600 block of Main Street. Bearden’s driving privileged had been revoked and she had an Albany Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply with court orders.

MONDAY, NOV. 5

NOISE COMPLAINT: Philomath Police responded at 2:29 a.m. to the 1300 block of Cedar Street for a noise complaint. The subjects of the complaint apologized and quieted down.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Philomath Police responded to the post office at 2:20 p.m. for an irate customer. The officer asked the man, who “has ongoing anger problems and issues with the post office” to leave the building.

BURGLARY: Philomath Police responded at 5:10 p.m. to a residence on the 300 block of North 17th Street for a report of a burglary that had occurred around 1 p.m. No further information was provided.

FALSE REPORT: A 16-year-old female reported that she was hit by a car on the 1300 block of Applegate Street. It was later determined to be a false report.

METHAMPHETAMINE: Philomath Police arrested Cory Justin Strait, 20, of Philomath, following a traffic stop at 10:41 p.m. on the 1400 block of Main Street. While Strait was being processed at the Philomath Police Department for charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and possession of methamphetamine, he racked up additional charges of resisting arrest, interfering with a peace officer and tampering with evidence. When he was taken to jail, he was booked on a final charge of supplying contraband because he was allegedly found to be in possession of more methamphetamine.

TUESDAY, NOV. 6

PAROLE VIOLATION: Philomath Police arrested Bobby Wade Loftis, 44, of Philomath, at 10:52 p.m. on the 2500 block of Newton Street for an Oregon State Parole Board warrant.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7

IDENTITY THEFT: A Philomath resident reported to Philomath Police that someone had used the complainant's debit card number to make a purchase in the Portland or Tigard area.

MEDICAL: 8:59 a.m., 1300 block of Applegate Street.

MEDICAL: 5:29 p.m., 1300 block of Applegate Street.

MEDICAL: 7:06 a.m., 900 block of Pioneer Street.
