SUNDAY, NOV. 3

WARRANT: A Benton County sheriff deputy responded at 5:15 p.m. to the 31000 block of Fern Road to arrest Carlos Santiago Penn, 60, of Philomath, on warrants. She was transported to Polk County Jail.

FRIDAY, NOV. 8

THEFT: The Benton County Sheriff’s Office took a report of $800 being stolen from a residence on the 24000 block of Highway 20, about 3 miles west of Philomath.

HEROIN: Philomath police cited and released Robert Joseph Murray, 24, of Albany, and Karly Ann Tarvin, 24, of Corvallis, both on a charge of possession of heroin. Tarvin additionally had a warrant for failure to appear in Benton County Circuit Court on criminal charges. The arrests took place on the 900 block of Southwest 53rd Street near West Hills Road in Corvallis.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Philomath police was dispatched at 8:38 a.m. to the 1400 block of Main Street and at 2:40 p.m. to the 1200 block of Main Street, both for reports of disorderly conduct. No further information was provided.

WARRANT: Philomath police cited and released Tylor Marion Dixon, 24, of Philomath, on a Philomath Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court following a traffic stop at 10:40 p.m. near the intersection of Eighth Street and Main Street.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Philomath police cited and released Jeffrey William Appelt-Harley, 31, of Philomath, on a disorderly conduct charge. The interaction took place on the 2100 block of Main Street.

SATURDAY, NOV. 9

DUII CRASH: A mother and son suffered unspecified injuries as a result of a two-vehicle crash at 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 20 and Kings Valley Highway. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office reported that the driver of the other vehicle, 51-year-old Scott Allen Chapel of Philomath, crashed nearly head-on into their vehicle when he attempted to turn left onto Highway 20 from Kings Valley Highway. Chapel was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, third-degree assault and reckless endangering.

SUNDAY, NOV. 10

WELFARE CHECK: Dispatch received a request at 4:53 p.m. for Philomath police to perform a welfare check on an individual on the 2000 block of Applegate Street.

MONDAY, NOV. 11

DISTURBANCE: Philomath police were dispatched at 8:38 p.m to the 1200 block of Pioneer Street for a report of a domestic disturbance.

TUESDAY, NOV. 12

BURGLARY: Philomath police took a burglary report that reportedly occurred on the 3300 block of Main Street.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 13

TRESPASSING: Philomath police took a trespass report that reportedly occurred on the 1500 block of Applegate Street.

THURSDAY, NOV. 14

HARASSMENT: Philomath police took a report at 1:48 p.m. of an irate woman, who appeared to be in her 50s, yelling and spitting at Chevron gas station employees. The woman took off heading west in an older Jeep Cherokee.

FRAUD: A Philomath resident reported to Philomath police that someone used the resident’s debit card to fraudulently place an Amazon order. The card was canceled and Amazon credited the account.

RECKLESS DRIVING: A motorist reported a road rage incident at 3:02 p.m. that reportedly occurred on Highway 20 just west of Philomath. The caller reported that the other driver was honking, flipping him off and waving an unknown object.

FOUND PROPERTY (DRUGS?): A Philomath citizen turned into the Philomath Police Department a small plastic baggie containing a white crystal substance that the citizen found in a nearby parking lot.
