The Philomath Public Works Committee is scheduled to meet at 3 p.m. Thursday at City Hall.
A discussion on the possibility of installing a radar speed sign in Philomath is among the items on the agenda. Also, systems development charges methodology will be a topic with Curt McLeod, an engineering consultant with Curran-McLeod Inc.
Public Works Committee members include councilors Doug Edmonds, Chas Jones and Eric Niemann, who serves as chairman. Resource personnel attending meetings typically include Kevin Fear, public works director; Garry Black, public works operations supervisor; Chris Workman, city manager; and Joan Swanson, finance director.
The afternoon’s agenda also includes possible tree board business. Rick Flacco and Lorri Herndon serve on the tree board.

The planning commission is scheduled to meet for a work session this coming Monday at 6 p.m. The work session, which is open to the public, will feature Department of Land, Conservation and Development training for commissioners.
