After taking the summer off, the Benton County Genealogical Society meetings and programs return Saturday morning.
The group typically has a meeting at 10 a.m., followed by a presentation at 11 a.m., at the College United Methodist Church (1123 Main St.). According to the organization’s website, the program does not have a designated speaker with plans for members to share any of their new genealogical discoveries from over the summer. The programs are free and open to all.
The BCGS always welcomes new members. For more information, go online to www.bcgs-oregon.org. The current president of the group is George Davidson.
