Following is a rundown of Philomath-related public meetings for Tuesday, Nov. 5:

COUNTY

The Benton County Board of Commissioners will meet Tuesday for a morning work session and an afternoon regular meeting.

The work session begins at 9 a.m. with an agenda that includes:

• Discussion on sale of surplus property acquired through tax foreclosure

• Discussion on establishing two health positions in the Community Health Centers.

• Discussion on a resolution urging leaders to declare climate emergency.

• Discussion on a petition to change Benton County’s Local Workforce Development Area.

• Review of the 2040 timeline and discussion of the 2040 Council.

The regular meeting begins at noon and includes the following on its agenda:

• A consent calendar that includes approval of an order authorizing payment of property taxes to certain municipalities or other taxing districts in advance for tax year 2019-20 and minutes from recent meetings and work sessions.

• Proclamations to recognize American Indian and Alaskan Native Heritage Month (November) and Veterans Day (Nov. 11) in Benton County.

• Public hearing on a petition for annexation of territory into the Dumbeck Lane Domestic Water Supply District.

• Discussion on a petition to change Benton County’s Local Workforce Development Area.

• Discussion and consideration on establishing two health positions in the Community Health Centers.
