PHS wrestling: Noah Estes

Noah Estes, seen here earlier this season, was among Philomath's wrestlers winning on pins Tuesday night against Siuslaw.

The Philomath High School wrestling team won six of nine matches and added more points on five forfeits in a 66-12 dual win over Siuslaw Tuesday.

Blaise Pindell (126 pounds), Hunter Kaumanns (132), Morgan French (145), Matthew Hamlet (160), Brooks Stearns (182) and Noah Estes (215) all won on pins over their Siuslaw opponents. Estes and Kaumanns both stuck their counterparts in under a minute.

Out of the losses for the Warriors, Issiah Blackburn (170) had a very competitive match against Riley Jennings but came up short in a 6-4 decision.

The Warriors will head late this week to the Cottage Grove Invitational.
