Iconoplasty, “Origins” — The mind of Josh Gross thrives ’neath myriad hats: scribe, comedian, troubadour. All inhabit a one-man enterprise, Iconoplasty, which squalls, loops and weaves to paint a live collage, twining and twisting wherever the fates lead. Shot by Gross on his iPhone — in shadow-caster majesty — “Origins” unfolds the familiar tale of man, woman and the divinely bequeathed guitar that threatens to tear them apart. Props to Gross for presenting the gods as hovering Groucho specs (nod to Preminger’s “Skidoo,” perhaps?). They’re vengeful gods, it must be said — schoolyard thugs, more like, albeit no match for woman’s withering barbs. The music’s a stone groove, too, a neon strut through boundless palettes.
