Nancie Carmichael

Author Nancie Carmichael will be the featured speaker at a Valley-wide Night of Praise and Worship scheduled for Thursday at Hope Church in Albany. 

Mid-Valley Women of Christ will host a Valley-Wide Night of Praise and Worship at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hope Church, 2817 Santiam Highway SE in Albany.

The event celebrates the conclusion of 52 classes of community Bible studies hosed by 41 churches in 21 cities this winter.

Nancie Carmichael will speak at the service. Carmichael received a Master of Arts degree from George Fox Evangelical Seminary, and is the former publisher of Virtue Magazine and Christian Parenting Today Magazine and author of several books. She is co-owner with her husband, Bill, of Deep River Books Publishing in Sisters.

Carmichael with share teaching from her most recent book, “The Unexpected Power of Home.” Her Bible study of the same title attracted more than 200 women this year at her home church in Bend.

Ashra Liles and the Hope Church Praise Team will lead worship. The event is open to all women. A freewill offering will be taken. Child care is not provided.
