An Albany teen died late Monday in a single-vehicle crash on Three Lakes Road south of Grand Prairie Road, near Albany.

According to Linn County Sheriff Jim Yon, the single-vehicle accident happened at about 11:37 p.m. Quinn Izak Stover, 15, was driving north on Three Lakes Road in a 1986 Toyota Supra and failed to negotiate a curve. The youth, who was the sole occupant in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed appears to have been a factor in the crash, but there did not appear to be any alcohol or drugs involved, Yon said. Stover did not have a driver's license.
