Mary Castle, 81, of Lebanon, died Tuesday at Lydia’s House in Albany.
Mary was born June 25, 1936, in Long Beach, California, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Wood) Woodworth.
She moved to Cottage Grove as a child where she was active in 4-H and graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1955.
She married D. Dean Castle on December 23, 1958. The couple resided in Yamhill, Carlton, Clatskanie and Elmira prior to settling in Lebanon in the mid-1970s.
Mary worked at Western Farm Service in Tangent for many years until her retirement.
Mary enjoyed being on the farm, spending time with her family, sewing and a good glass of wine.
She is survived by sons, Brian Castle of Redmond and Eric Castle of Portland; daughters, Becky Castle of Albany and Pam Castle of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; brother, George Woodworth of Tacoma, Washington; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Dean preceded her in death on November 24, 2014.
Private family services will be held.
