William Walter Cook (Bill) of Sammamish, Washington, passed away on January 21, 2019, after a long illness in Issaquah, Washington.
He was the son of Merle and Louise Barnes Cook and was born in Lebanon on October 18, 1945.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Anya Elise Grobstok.
He leaves his wife, Karen Eileen Cook, whom he married in 1985. They loved boating, dancing and family. Bill cared for Karen for several years through her diagnosis with Alzheimer's disease.
Bill had a long career in fire-sprinkler sales and was well-liked by all of his associates.
In addition to Karen, he leaves a sister and brother, Darlene (Frank) Ellis and Robert (Bob) Cook; three nephews, Scott Ellis, Chris Cook and Blair Cook, and two nieces, Kandace Hanks and Amanda Adeniji. He also leaves behind his much-loved extended family which includes his stepdaughters and families, Brynn Telkamp (Mike), Regan Hurley (Chris), Colleen Grobstok (Kristen) and Heather Cole; and his much loved grandchildren, Johan and Jack Telkamp, Jane and George Hurley, Hans and Kaia Grobstok
He will be put to rest in Harrisburg with his family.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be given to the Alzheimer's Association in his name.
