CHILD NEGLECT: 11:15 a.m., Southwest Third Street and Goodnight Avenue, Corvallis. Police responded after a city bus had stopped and stayed with a young child who was about to cross the highway without a parent present. The boy’s mother was located about 50 minutes after police responded. The woman, Alisha Livermore, no age provided, reportedly told police she did not know her son was missing until moments before an officer arrived at her door. Police cited Livermore for second-degree child neglect.
