WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 21

DUII: 6:19 a.m., Northwest Sixth Street and Southwest Monroe Avenue, Corvallis. An officer found a car high-centered on a curb along the train tracks. The driver, Jessica Diercks, 31, reportedly admitted to consuming alcohol. The officer arrested Diercks for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Diercks reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.15 percent.

Benton County Sheriff’s Office

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14

DUII: 1:19 a.m., Starr Road and Highway 99W, Monroe. A deputy stopped a car for having an obscured license plate. The deputy arrested the driver, Jason Westly Moffett, 48, of Junction City, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and for a warrant for probation violation for DUII. Moffett reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.18 percent.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 21

DUII: Northwest Polk Avenue and Northwest 17th Street, Corvallis. A deputy stopped a car for failing to maintain the lane. The deputy arrested the driver, Matthew Tyler Wertz, 25, of Corvallis, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Wertz reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.17 percent.

Oregon State Police

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6

DUII: 2:46 a.m., Southwest 26th Street and Southwest Washington Way, Corvallis. A trooper arrested Daniel Vernon Quast, 28, of Albany, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Quast did not have alcohol in his system. A drug recognition expert reportedly determined Quast was impaired by a stimulant.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7

DUII: 10:12 p.m., Northwest Third Street and Northwest Van Buren Avenue, Corvallis. A trooper stopped a car for a traffic violation. The trooper arrested the driver, Kyle Hardin Strickland, 24, of Forest Grove, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Strickland reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.15 percent.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS SEX OFFENDER: 7 p.m., 2900 block of Southwest Campus Way, Corvallis. A trooper arrested Dominic Ryan Piccolo, 25, of Milwaukee, for failing to register as a sex offender.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13

DUII: 3:15 a.m., Northwest Fourth Street and Northwest Monroe Avenue, Corvallis. A trooper stopped a car for a traffic violation. The trooper arrested the driver, Stephen Anthony Schmidt-Shelton, 35, of Corvallis, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Schmidt-Shelton did not have alcohol in his system. He reportedly refused to be evaluated by a drug recognition expert.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15

DUII: 9:51 p.m., Southwest Philomath Boulevard and Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis. A trooper stopped a car for a traffic violation. The trooper arrested the driver, Dusty Lee Burns, 35, of Newport, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Burns reportedly did not have alcohol in his system and underwent a drug recognition evaluation.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 17

DUII: 1:33 a.m., Northwest Harrison Boulevard and Northwest 13 Street, Corvallis. A trooper stopped a car for multiple traffic violations. The trooper arrested the driver, Reese Cameron Morton, 19, of Albany, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Morton reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.18 percent.
