A power outage affected more than 2,500 customers in Corvallis late Monday morning.

The outage was caused by an equipment issue at a substation, said Pacific Power spokesperson Ry Schwark. The outage occurred about 11:47 a.m. Power had been restored to all customers by 12:08 p.m., Schwark said.

"We were able to get on top of it and get it restored relatively quickly," he said.

The outage was in the area of Northwest Circle Boulevard and Northwest Buchanan Avenue.
