The flood warning issued by the National Weather Service for the Willamette River in Corvallis and Albany remains in effect until Friday morning.

But the warning for the Willamette at Harrisburg has been canceled.

River forecasts are based on observed and forecast rainfall and temperatures, and include current and planned reservoir releases.

The next update for these locations will be issued by 11 a.m. Thursday.

At 2 a.m. Thursday in Corvallis, the river was at 31.7 feet. Flood stage is at 30.0 feet. The river crested at 32.8 feet at 9 a.m. Wednesday and is expected to fall below flood stage around 11 p.m. Thursday and should continue falling for the next couple of days.

Above 30 feet, expect extensive flooding of low-lying agricultural land east and south of Corvallis. Flooding can be expected in low areas of Highway 34 and numerous roads in and near Corvallis.

In Albany at 2 a.m., the river was at 27.2 feet. Flood stage is 25.0 feet. The river crested at 27.3 feet at 11 p.m. Wednesday. It is expected to fall below flood stage around 2 a.m. Friday and should continue falling for the next couple of days.

Above 27 feet, expect some flooding in Bryant Park and South Albany.

Lebanon
