Virtual reality event set for Saturday at Ashbrook

People look through virtual reality gear Jan. 9 at a trade show in Las Vegas. A virtual reality event is set for Saturday at Ashbook Independent School.

The Corvallis-Benton County Public Library and ChickTech Corvallis are hosting a Saturday session on virtual reality from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Ashbrook Independent School, 4045 SW Research Way.

Several virtual reality headsets, including Google Cardboard and the HTC Vive, will be available to tinker with. Oregon State University and ChickTech students will be on hand to help with the technology.
