BENTON COUNTY SHERIFF
Meth — 2:09 a.m., 120 S.W. Cummings Ave. A deputy reportedly saw a man ride a bike into a parking lot and try to dismantle a bike locked to a rack. The deputy stopped the man, Filipe Leo Morfin, 30, of Corvallis, learned he had outstanding warrants and arrested him for the warrants and a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Burglary — 5 p.m. Monday, 2000 block Northwest Aspen Street. A woman reported $200 in cash and a tablet computer were stolen from her residence.
DUII — 1:08 a.m. Tuesday, 2000 block Northwest Ninth Street. An officer arrested James Morrow Hickman, 56, of Corvallis, for a charge of DUII. Hickman reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.15 percent.
LINN COUNTY SHERIFF
Accidents — 7:18 a.m. Monday, 3500 block Spicer Drive, Lebanon. A driver lost control of his Toyota 4 Runner on the road's icy surface, slid into a ditch and damaged a mailbox. The vehicle sustained minor damage, estimated at $2,500. The driver agreed to repair the mailbox.
Other accidents were reported at 7:31 a.m. on Ogle Road; 7:50 a.m. in the 34000 block of Oakville Road, Albany; and at 8:14 a.m. in the 34000 block of Riverside Drive, Albany. Drivers of two vehicles were taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis with neck pain.
Burglary — 1:22 p.m. Monday, 300 block North Sixth St., Harrisburg. A caller reported the loss of $650 worth of construction tools and supplies.
SWEET HOME POLICE
Warrant arrest — 11 a.m. Monday, 600 block Main St. Dylan James Johnston, 27, was arrested and charged with providing false information to a police officer; failure to register as a sex offender; third-degree theft warrant; DUII probation violation; failure to appear; PCS heroin; delivery of heroin. Warrants were from Sweet Home, Lebanon, Linn County, Clackamas County and Coos County. He remains lodged at the Linn County Jail.
