My heart bleeds for all our anti-socialists who live by their principles.
They did not attend public schools or public universities, they can’t drive on public roads or get help from the police and fire departments. They can’t enjoy recreation on public lands, laze on beaches or fish in the nationalized ocean. Since they don’t take weekends off or enjoy other vacations won by trade unions they probably have no time for recreation anyway, and their children have to work 14-hour days starting at age 8. When attacked by a foreign power, they hire militias to protect themselves to avoid using the world’s largest nationalized industry, the U.S. military. When they retire, they cannot enjoy Social Security and Medicare. In any case, they probably don’t live that long because many of the lifesaving drugs were developed using public funds.
The good side is that they can enjoy the free market by shopping at all the local businesses downtown and buying their groceries at the farmers market from unsubsidized capitalist organic farmers, thereby avoiding all the large chains with their subsidies, oligarchs, anti-capitalist monopolies and political favors.
