The internet is chockablock with staged fact-like reporting which amuses folks like InfoWars and Project Veritas to put out there and see rational people weigh in at fact-oriented outlets known as our free press. Supermarket tabloids are purchased for their entertainment value. They masquerade as print journalism but rarely do the sensible see any truth in alien appendages, "friends say" stories about popular stars, or miracle cures that sound too good to be true. They do sell, though.
Unfortunately, disinformation is in play now as the nation is threatened with gaslighting from high places over outright lies. The president first said he saw people change clothes and return to vote again, then answered the blowback to that saying he heard someone say it. If you think undocumented immigrants risk discovery one iota in anything they do, I challenge your logical abilities. Someone really holding American citizenship as a goal follows the procedures to the letter. There was a quasi-amnesty several decades ago just as "Dreamers" were accommodated by law or executive action. Of course now the climate is severely restrictive of those opportunities but many of our workers and neighbors live with that shield of legitimacy.
Why would someone with legal residence but not citizenship, for now, engage in false oath taking in order to vote? Same goes for the undocumented we know are among us. Why? It makes no sense. So when someone tells you they saw an election official in Texas say it happened, think James O'Keefe.
