Craig Farrell’s recent letter to the editor and his opinion about compassion for the the homeless make me want to shout: "People like me may not want a shelter downtown but we want a shelter in an appropriate place."
Please, stop this “I’m better at compassion than you because I want a shelter downtown and you don’t." This is plain and simple blarney. This attitude needs to be drowned out by voices saying: "This is phony compassion and it stinks to high heaven."
